The Chalet

“Annie’s Hut” was bought by the present owners in April 1998 and has been completely refurbished and restored.

·
It sleeps up to five - four comfortably - and occupies one of the very best positions on the beach.
·
It enjoys lovely views towards the Quantock Hills and Wales from the small, fenced garden at the back.
·
Equally good views of the hills surrounding Dunster and Exmoor beyond  are enjoyed from the front deck, which is also gated and fenced.
·
There is a ‘village shop’ on site offering newspapers, ice creams and essential supplies, also a public ‘phone and post box.  These facilities are a short walk from Annie’s Hut.

There are approximately 200 Beach Huts (or chalets as some people prefer to call them) which were originally built in the 1930s and the area still retains a lovely “old-fashioned” feel about it.  It is a really safe, peaceful haven, especially for small children.
